Hotel Fresno

Opened in 1913, Hotel Fresno is the oldest standing hotel in Fresno, California, and was once the social center of the entire city.  It's luxurious nature attracted guests from all over; featuring numerous columns, chandeliers, draping curtains, and mosaic tiling.  A changing downtown led to the isolation of the hotel, leading to it's eventual closing in 1983, and it remained closed ever since, with all that remains being the mosaic tiles, although hidden under a layer of dust.  The hotel continues to sit in a state of almost complete abandonment to this day.
